How to Book
Home Visit Physiotherapy
Mobile physiotherapy is not a reduced version of clinic care — it's the same advanced clinical assessment and treatment, delivered in an environment that works better for your life. For busy parents of teenage athletes, working professionals, and active adults in Windermere and southwest Edmonton, coming to a clinic on a Tuesday evening can be genuinely difficult.
Mo's Saturday home visit service removes that barrier entirely. You get undivided, expert attention in the comfort of your own home — with the full clinical depth of an FCAMPT specialist, Sport Physiotherapy Canada diplomat, and dual master's degree holder.
His training is built for exactly the conditions a home visit demands: hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, exercise prescription, and clinical reasoning — none of which require an ultrasound machine to be effective. In fact, for musculoskeletal and sport injury care, what matters most is the clinician in the room with you.
Areas We Serve
Mo covers a focused area in southwest Edmonton — keeping travel time tight so your appointment runs on time and you get the full session you've paid for.
Not sure if your address is within range? Just email — Mo will do his best to make it work.
Mo holds some of the most advanced clinical credentials in Canadian physiotherapy, including Fellowship of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), a Sport Physiotherapy Canada Diploma, and dual Master's degrees in Sport & Exercise Medicine and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy from Western University. Fewer than 5% of Canadian physiotherapists hold the FCAMPT designation.
His clinical experience spans elite sport — including work with Rugby Canada — as well as leading sports medicine settings such as Fowler Kennedy Sport Medicine Clinic (London, Ontario) and Rebalance MD (Victoria, BC). He graduated with his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Amsterdam in 2013.
Mo founded Yamali Advanced Physiotherapy on a simple principle: the level of care typically reserved for elite athletes should be accessible to everyone — delivered where it works best for you.
Born and raised in Amsterdam, Mo's background in sport — particularly football (soccer) — continues to shape his clinical approach, with a focus on movement quality, performance, and long-term recovery.
Credentials
These designations represent years of disciplined post-graduate study, rigorous international examination, and deep clinical immersion. Together they don't just add letters after a name — they shape how Mo thinks, assesses, and reasons through every patient presentation.
The highest level of orthopaedic manual therapy training in Canada — a multi-year, internationally recognised post-graduate designation involving rigorous examination and clinical mentorship. Meets IFOMPT standards.
The nationally recognised credential for physiotherapists specialising in sport injury assessment and management. Advanced competency in returning athletes from recreational to professional levels.
Two master's degrees — one in Sport and Exercise Medicine, one in Comprehensive Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Breadth of clinical reasoning that serves patients across the full spectrum.
What We Treat
All of Mo's core services translate fully to a home visit setting. What matters in musculoskeletal and sport physiotherapy is clinical reasoning and hands-on skill — not machines. You get the same expert care, in your own space.
As an FCAMPT physiotherapist, Mo delivers orthopaedic manual therapy at the highest level available in Canada — joint mobilizations and manipulations of the spine and extremities, applied with precision at your home.
From weekend warriors to competitive teenagers, Mo's sport medicine and physiotherapy training ensures athletes receive performance-focused care. Ideal for hockey, soccer, gymnastics, running, and all active pursuits.
Comprehensive assessment and treatment of all musculoskeletal conditions — spinal, extremity, chronic, and post-surgical — using an evidence-informed, individualised approach that adapts to you, not a template.
Fine monofilament needles used to release myofascial trigger points, reduce muscular tension, and restore neuromuscular function. Used alongside manual therapy — always with your explicit informed consent.
Specialised assessment and treatment for teenage athletes managing sport injuries, growth-related pain, or return-to-play challenges. A home visit makes this easy for busy families in Keswick, Windermere, and SW Edmonton.
Recovery stalled? Diagnosis that doesn't sit right? Mo will conduct a fresh, independent assessment and give you his honest clinical view. No obligation to continue after a second opinion session.
Fees & Pricing
A small home visit premium reflects Mo's travel time and the convenience of care delivered directly to you — not a surcharge for the same experience. You're paying for expert physiotherapy and the time you get back.
Direct billing is available for most extended health benefit plans — Mo bills your insurer directly so you don't need to pay upfront in most cases. Mo will always provide a detailed receipt for your records.
Please note that Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) and WCB claims are not accepted at this time.
Our Approach
Clinical excellence and genuine respect for you as a person are inseparable. Mo believes the best outcomes happen when patients are fully informed, genuinely heard, and free to make decisions about their own care.
You will always be told what Mo is doing, and why. Before any assessment or treatment, Mo will explain what it involves, what the expected benefits are, and what the realistic alternatives look like.
Questions are not an inconvenience — they are welcomed. There is no question too small, too basic, or too challenging. That is a promise.
"The most important thing a physiotherapist can do is earn your trust — not assume it."
Cancellation Policy
When you book a home visit, Mo's time, travel, and preparation are all committed to you. We kindly ask for 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule — this gives us the opportunity to offer your slot to another patient.
If a cancellation occurs with less than 24 hours' notice, a $60 late cancellation fee may apply. We want to be transparent — not punitive. If you've had a true emergency, please reach out. We will always listen.
